Exploring the… Moon?

I was jumping around. Jumping to distances and heights I would never actually be able to do. Nothing superhuman, but just about twice or three times what I would be able to do in reality. So I was jumping from obstacle to obstacle, doing like a plain, unfancy version of parkour.

Then the scene changed. This time I was in some desolute and cold place, there were other people too. We were trying to explore an underground area. It was a really cold place and everyone was wearing some kind of space suit. Some guy was exploring it from the other end from where I was. It wasn’t really big, just the size of a room maybe, and I could see the other side quite clearly, though there were obstacles and the ceiling was really low and slanted in strange ways. It felt like we were on the moon, or maybe more like a mock up of what might possibly be the moon? But the exploration clearly went well because the next thing I knew was that my name was in the papers.

Then I was at a restaurant. It was a strange place. I was with my ex-colleague and she asked me what I wanted to eat. I looked at the menu, it was really strange. Like…. There was a page of curry udon, but all the variations were boring and unappealing. And the same variations was repeated but with rice next, that sort of thing. Just, very strange, plain and boring. Not your usual katsu curry, instead just like, plain rice. Rice with curry. Rice with curry and egg. Rice with curry and cheese. No meat, hardly any ingredients or anything substantial. You could pick some extra dishes to go with your meal though. Like literally go to erm, a supermarket like freezer and pick out the piece of raw, fresh, chopped up but otherwise unprepared fish to go with your meal. I picked half a fish that was supposedly for tuna sashimi to go with my meal, only that the fish absolutely did NOT look like tuna. Strange indeed. The fish didn’t look fresh either. It wasn’t put on ice, the ‘freezer’ wasn’t cold. And it was placed in a dish of water. There were seaweeds that you could supposedly pick and have them make into a salad too. I asked the waiter if that fish was for sashimi and he said yes. I gave the ingredients to him for my meal. No idea how the meal turned out… The scene changed before any food was served.

I had an off day and my boss asked me if I was doing anything. I replied that I wasn’t initially, but changed my mind and was going to a competition. I was doing that basic parkour thing again, jumping my way to my destination. I’d heard that H from my previous job was taking part in it, and I wanted to check out her skills. Trash her, more likely. I didn’t tell that to my boss though. But after hearing that I was heading to the weiqi competition, my boss somehow just went off in the same direction too, and he was also doing that parkour jumping ahead of me, faster than I could catch up. Geez.

I wondered on my way there if it was still possible to sign up for the competition at the last minute. But either case, I still made my way there. Didn’t really get to see if H was around, I think she was but I didn’t get to talk to her or anything. But the boys were there. My boss, M, and one other non-specified programming boy, and they wanted to play me. So I did, all three at once and I trashed them. My boss tried to pull the usual putting two stones instead of one thing, but I kindly informed him that putting two stones on the board in a turn means to surrender.

And then I woke up from my little nap.
